The Sons of the American Legion give male descendants of eligible veterans a way to honor their family’s service through support for veterans, youth, Americanism, and the Claysville community.

Meetings are held at Hunt-Kennedy Post 639 unless local leadership announces a change.

Membership
Official eligibility includes male descendants, adopted sons, and stepsons of American Legion members, along with qualifying male descendants of veterans who died during eligible service periods or after honorable discharge. Post 639 can help your family review the requirements.
